Using Savings
If you wish to use your savings to fund the rent of your property, it is at the discretion of the lettings agency whether they are happy to accept this. This also applies if you intend to use your investments or dividends to fund the rent.
Evidencing Savings
If your lettings agency is happy to accept your savings, you will need to provide the latest 3 months of bank statements for your account or investment portfolio.
The savings will need to have been held in the account for over 3 months and show a consistent amount. We will take into account the lowest value held when considering your affordability.
