TLDR: The documents required to evidence your address depend on your living situation. For informal arrangements like staying with friends or subletting, you must provide at least one document showing your name and address. Acceptable documents include recent bank statements, council tax bills, utility bills, letters from government departments, insurance policies, accommodation bookings, driver's licenses, or tenancy agreements.
Evidencing your address and residency
The nature of your current accommodation and living situation will determine the documents required to evidence this.
Informal Living Arrangements
If you are currently in an informal living arrangement, such as staying with friends or subletting, the documents we require will vary based on the situation. At a minimum, you will be asked to provide at least one of the following documents. The documents must clearly show the address of the property and your full name.
