TLDR: To evidence your address in rented accommodation, provide two documents showing your name and address: one must be landlord, agent, or management company contact details, and the other can be a recent bank statement, council tax bill, utility bill, government letter, insurance policy, in-date driver's license, or tenancy agreement. A rental reference from your recent landlord or agent is also required for tenant suitability verification.
Evidencing your address and residency
The nature of your current accommodation and living situation will determine the documents required to evidence this.
Rented Accommodation
If you are named on the tenancy agreement for the property you currently live in, please enter your residence type as renting. Otherwise, if you are living with a relative who is named on the tenancy agreement, select Family/Relatives Home.

Rental Reference
As part of your Homeppl check we will ask for a rental reference from your most recent landlord or lettings agent. This is to confirm your suitability to be a future tenant.
You will be asked to provide the name of the landlord, property manager or management company, and their contact details.
